And a neat feature you should notice is that it enables you to clone only video data or clone the original IFO files. Let’s cut to the chase, to have a look at the following tip on how to clone DVD with DVDFab DVD Copy.
Step 1: Start DVDFab 9, go to Copy option, and choose Clone/Burn mode
After downloading and installing DVDFab 9, just fire it up, then choose Copy option on the welcome screen, and you’ll see the main Copy interface. We want to clone a DVD, so we need to choose the copy mode as Clone/Burn, which is circled in red as showed in the below screenshot.
Step 2: Insert DVD disc for DVDFab 9 to load it
Now insert the DVD disc you want to clone into optical drive so that DVDFab will load it in. Once it’s in, you can choose how to clone the DVD. Clone only the DVD video data, or clone the original IFO files. Let’s choose the first one for example. And now we need to make sure we’ve selected a writer in the “Save to” box for writing data into a blank/rewritable DVD disc, before hitting Start button.
Step 3: Start cloning
OK. Now click Start button to start cloning process. DVDFab 9 will at first rip the DVD content. During the process, you can monitor detailed progress info.
After this ripping process has been finished, you’ll be prompted to insert a compatible media to start the write process. Just insert a blank/rewritable DVD5/DVD9 according to the size of the DVD source.
Once the target disc is in, the write process will start. Soon, everything will be done. You’ll get a perfect DVD clone. Just have fun.
